what art?
Watercolors. Sketches. Drawings. Done to stop the itching of the hand and the mind. I didn't get any formal training in drawing or painting so each work is still part of an endless and enjoyable learning experience.
since when?
I started drawing when I was in highshool. Oil Pastels were my medium of choice back then because they're cheap, easy to use, and don't require special paper. [that's what i thought and what i did ;)] On my break after highschool i moved to soft pastels. I still can't get the hang of using it.. i tend to put too many layers which later turn muddy and unrecognizable once i spray fixatif. I still struggle with it and insist on using it sometimes.
medium? style? technique?
When i was in college i bought my first prang watercolor set, the one with eight color ovals, and started fighting my watercolorphobia [there's no medical term for this yet coz i'm the only one who has this fear ;p]. I now consider it my favorite medium, although i know i still have a lot to learn when it comes to using it properly.
Most of the pencil drawings here are illustrations done for the poems featured at the Thomasian Engineer Journal, the semi-annual official publication of ust engineering students.
The mixed section contains works done in other media that i don't often use.
enjoy. :)
